Pirate’s Cove Resort and Marina is a favorite with those who love exciting fishing tournaments. Our full-service, deep-water marina provides easy access to some of the world’s best fishing waters via nearby St. Lucie Inlet, and can accommodate up to 100 vessels. In fact, Pirate’s Cove is home to the largest fishing fleet on Florida’s Treasure Coast.

As the “Sailfish Capital of the World,” Stuart, Florida boasts tournaments that lure top anglers from across the globe. Pirate’s Cove Resort and Marina is host to the Pirate’s Cove Sailfish Classic, a tournament that has been going strong for a quarter of a century as one of the circuit’s top competitions. And it’s also one of the area’s most popular parties! The Sailfish Classic is the first of three tournaments in the prestigious Treasure Coast Sailfish Championship series.

Within a 10-mile radius of the resort and marina, anglers can pursue 800 species of fish in the beautiful waters of the Atlantic Ocean. And you don’t have to be on a boat to join in the fun! The closed-in Gulf Stream ensures you’ll enjoy the action while surf fishing, or casting your line from river bridges and docks.
