Pirate’s Cove Resort & Marina is located in the heart of Stuart, Florida. Good thing for you, our resort has a pool to cool you off from the South Florida sun at the end of the day, and the Pirate’s Loft restaurant is only a few steps away from your waterfront hotel room! When you’re ready to take your kids to the beach, it is helpful to know you have several options nearby!

If you’re looking for a quiet, less populated beach, then you can head over to Santa Lucea or Bathtub Reef beach. Be sure to bring your snorkel gear, because Bathtub Reef is the perfect place to swim around and soak up the underwater views! The beaches in Hutchinson Island are a short distance away (only about 8 miles) from Pirate’s Cove.

Near the beaches, there is the Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center, where the entire family can learn about marine life and interact with different programs. Looking for a place to relax and still have fun? Trying to be in the sun but still cool off? Stuart is home to its very own water park – Sailfish Splash! This water park is the perfect excursion for the whole family! With slides, a lazy river, and a water playground, what could be better for the kids? These exciting attractions are sure to put a smile on their face and yours.

If you want a day to stay dry, the Kiwanis Youth Park is the perfect choice. This park has plenty of activities for the little ones and is safe for them to play! The kids here are free to run around and exert their energy.
